The B&B actress was in Italy filming on-location for the show when she heard the news about her first Outstanding Young Actress nomination. “I was just about to shoot a scene in the Adriatic sea in Italy,” Wood laughs. “The water was only 54 degrees! [Executive Producer/Head Writer] Brad Bell came up to me and said, “How does it feel to be Emmy nominated? At first I didn’t get it, I thought he meant the scene I was about to shoot would be nominated. I laughed out loud then I realized what he was saying; it was pretty cool.” Being in Italy was the icing on the cake for the actress. “Actually it was pretty spectacular. We were having such a fabulous time meeting our fans that came out indroves to see us film our in their town this just topped the cake for me!”
